Quick tip to calm interview jitters

Many people call me right before they go on an interview. They feel fairly confident up until the day before their meeting. Then–bam!–the anxiety hits.

So—here’s a quick tip to help you:

It’s OK to feel anxious. What you may not know is that the interviewer is probably just as anxious (if not more so) as you.

I’ve been on both sides of the desk, and it’s just as tough finding the right candidate as it is being it. That’s why the process is often so lengthy and why hiring via referral has increased substantially. Just like you, companies worry.

Remembering that you’re probably not the only one anxious at the table may level the playing field, and help you feel (and interview) better.
