When you’re feeling overwhelmed at work, it’s hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel. You’re so stressed out that many of the popular calming rituals, such as being “mindful” and “in the moment” seem ridiculous, especially as, in this moment, your mind is filled with anxiety!
So—get in another moment. Picture yourself at the end of the work week laughing with your friends, with a glass of wine in your hand.
Or think about a difficult time in the past when you not only survived, but thrived!
The important thing to remember is that all things pass.
So will this anxious moment.
