“If you don’t like change, you’re going to like irrelevance even less.”—General Eric Shinseki
I recently heard this quote at a conference, and found it fitting this Memorial Day weekend as it comes from a war hero who is the first Asian-American 4-star general.
The rate of change in the world has never been this fast. Many people view change as anxiety producing; some think it’s exhilarating.
However you see it, the more grounded you are in your own abilities to navigate change, the better off–and more relevant–you’ll be.
If history has taught us anything, it is that change is ever-present.
More than ever, we need to be able to meet the present–and future– with confidence.
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
