Organize U: Quick Holiday Tip

Being organized is all about creating a system that speaks to you: That you can easily follow and maintain.

This is even more important during the holidays, when you’re on overload: working, attending events, shopping and trying to decorate in between.

One thing that I’ve found helpful is labeling all my Christmas boxes and keeping reference photos and short checklists inside them.

I started doing this 4 years ago, and it’s been invaluable! Think of it as a decorating road map–using memories as a guide for years to come.

For instance, I found this note with my garland: “2014: Used 9 gossamer streamers down the sides of the tree.”

So—that’s what I did this year. 1.2.3!

Remember: organizing is about easy retrieval, and finding what you want when you want it.

Soooo important for less stress and more success this holiday season!
